HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
WAYPOINT LEISURE LIMITED (“THE COMPANY”)
Waypoint Leisure Limited provides management, consultancy and training services to the gaming, pub retail and local authority sectors. The Company works with suppliers and contractors to deliver the services to clients.
The office is open Monday to Friday 9.00-5.30, however all clients have access to telephone and email contact details out of hours.
Whilst the number of direct employees does not necessitate the development of a formal Health and Safety policy for the Company, I work with clients, suppliers and contractors to deliver the services mentioned above. This requires a professional and appropriate understanding of Health and Safety matters.
I have prepared my own health and safety policy statement, using the combined template available on the HSE website at www.hse.gov.uk/risk/risk-assessment-and-policy-template.doc I genuinely care for staff and sub-contractors under my control and I want to portray this in the health and safety policy.
I downloaded the template and referred to the example policy statement and other guidance available on the HSE website at www.hse.gov.uk/risk.
I am responsible for health & safety matters within the Company.
When working with main contractors and sub-contractors I will understand and implement their own policy and procedures.
I undertake to review and update the document every year, or straightaway, if there are any major changes in the workplace or the Company’s work activities.
I hold two Health & Safety Awards following attendance at appropriate CITB accredited courses:
