Our terms of engagement can be hourly, daily, defined for a project, rolling,contracted for a term or no contract at all. Our rates are transparent (pdf 1638kb) and we would be pleased to negotiate with you, but whatever we do, and however we are remunerated, and all our work is covered by our satisfaction guarantee (pdf 196kb).
Our sole focus is delivery, so we will agree the success criteria and the service level agreement with you before we start working with you. Clarity is key for all of us. Your Customer experience is important to us.
For a small business, we have a lot of connections who help us to get things done. We work with key suppliers including Costa, top drinks brands, food service providers, certified training content providers and major UK gaming manufacturers and machine operators.

Founded in 2012 after 30 years management in the retail leisure and gaming industry
Waypoint Leisure was founded by Russell Wood in 2012 following some 30 years operational management solely in the UK leisure and gaming industry at individual site, exec and board level working for Mecca Leisure, Carlsboro, The Noble Organisation, Kunick Leisure and Enterprise Inns.
Site responsibility as a General Manager and Area Manager ranged from Aberdeen to Portsmouth and also London including the iconic Hammersmith Palais. Roles at exec and board level included Operations Director, Commercial Director, Managing Director, Joint Group Managing Director, Head of Gaming and Head of Retail Services.
Experience at senior executive level includes gaming, recruitment and training, legal services, call centre management, supply chain and logistics, licensed premises operations and sales and marketing.
Russell represented tenanted pubs on the BBPA Amusement and Gaming panel during consultations with Government relating to the Gambling Act 2003 and latterly the introduction of Machine Gaming Duty. He is a member of BACTA.
A former fellow of the British Institute of Inn-keeping, and still a current personal licence holder. Russell has also held UK and Isle of Man gaming board licenses. He is also a licensed Sales Through Service and Investors in Feedback trainer and holds CITB certificates in Site Health and Safety management.
He is a co-author with Guy Arnold of “The Reputation Book”, published by LID publishing in October 2017 and is a contributor to “250 Insights to Develop Your Professional and Personal Life” published by LID publishing in December 2018.
Russell has a BA Hons from the University of Leeds in Geography and French.
Matt Orton is responsible for our cloud based gaming data management systems and development. Mat has a wealth of experience working with pub, leisure and licensed betting office clients ensuring that their data is confidential and reports are accurate and on time. The company is ICO registered so you know we have systems in place to keep your data safe.
